Join the PICKLES, win a prize!

On Saturday, July 4th, I will be choosing 15 names from the Pickle Posse’s Pickle Barrel (every person who joins Mark’s Posse has a ticket assigned to them, that is thrown into ’the pickle barrel’)  and each of the winners will win a SideWinder.

It’s not too late to get in on the prize winnings — just join the Pickle Road Studio at Yahoo Groups, before July 4, 2009!

I can’t get into your group. For some reason, once I state I’m over 18, it doesn’t take me anywhere. Trust me, I’m WAY over 18!!! Sharon

Those sidewinders are awesome. But… and there is always a but….you need to buy a ton of extra bobbins and then some holders to keep your bobbins in! But they are great!

I had to look up what a sidewinder was …. After you mentioning about pickles in a barrel, I couldn’t understand how on earth you were going to give away 15 sidewinder missiles! According the the military :”Sidewinder is a supersonic, heat-seeking, air-to-air missile carried by fighter aircraft.” You’ be shooting a lot of pickles out of the barrel with one of those! I think it is time for me to get a little better acquainted with my quilting supplies!

if you are considering buying a side winder, it is a good idea to test out your bobbins on it to make sure they will work. while most bobbins will fit, a couple don’t. i work in our LQS & some were returned for that reason. otherwise, it’s the greatest addition to a quilters toy box since the rotary cutter.

I’d love to have a sidewinder. With all the quilting and machine embroidery I do it would be more productive to have a sidewinder.

That gadget sounds downright handy. I hate having to remove a project from the machine — and break my rhythym — to wind a bobbin, and my machine doesn’t have a low bobbin warning.

I already have the Sidewinder, and I love being able to sit on the couch cuddled up and wind up a bunch of bobbins at once. It comes with an electrical cord, but I always use mine as the battery powered option because it’s just so darn convenient. Good luck to those who hope to win!

I would love to win the “Side-Winder”. It would make quick work of bobbin winding just when I run out six inches from the end of some project!! I’ll be checking the pickle group to see who the lucky winners are! I hope one is me :-)

Ok, I’m a sucker for gadgets. Wanted one of these for my students at school (yes I am a Family and Consumer Sciences teacher), but they cut my budget and I am sooo tired of supplementing with my teacher wages… Win one and it goes back and forth with me like so many things!
Have you tried the Olfa circle cutter? LOOOOVE it!

WOW! This was a great way to get a ton of new folks to your group, Mark. This gadget looks so fun!

As always, I love your blog! I even have it at the top of my tools on my browser (Firefox 3.1) so I *remember* to read it. When you, of course, *remember* to blog!

    Hugs,
    Tere

To win a SideWinder you had to join the Pickle Posse on Yahoo… the winners were posted on July 4 and the alternate BONUS winners, this morning. SideWinders go out tomorrow and winners will be posted here. xoxom
