I watched a TV commercial on BBC America tonight and was gob smacked (as those adorable Brits like to say) . . .
But it’s NOT a joke!
The Chia Pet folks are now selling a special limited edition of a Chia Obama! No kidding! $20-bucks!
It comes as a “DETERMINED” Obama face (as shown)
OR a big smiley “HAPPY” Obama face . . .
You might remember the press going wild (because they suck) that Obama was going grey after 44 days in office! But I got to say, I’m becoming a little disillusioned and disenchanted with O. Let’s hope he has more than grass seeds in that head of his and he actually starts cashing in on some of his campaign promises. It’s starting to feel like business as usual. I’m just saying . . .

Marc, My heart is sooo sad. I am the infamose quilter from the Mt. Haven Quilt retreat in PA, lo so many years ago. Your mag is one of the bright spots in my life. I am soooo sad to hear you are not “in charge” any more. Please reconsider. OK that is selfish of me. You gotta do what you gotta do. But I for one will miss you much. Hope all is right with your world.
Love, Cupcake Barbara

I voted for Obama, and I am still glad that I did. He is doing a very good job so far as I am concerned. He is our president, let’s give him a chance. I am a via media person…it is how I approach life, in the middle.
I am sorry that Mark will no longer be editing Quilter’s Home…and I just renewed my subscription. QH was Mark…so now what?

Mark, don’t distract us from the really bad stuff with Chia pres.: I am so sorry you are leaving QH. You were the reason I read the magazine, and from the posts I can see I am not alone. I will miss you and your magazine, because I am not renewing. Phuh! I wish you all the best, even though you broke my heart!
