Crash and Burn

Yesterday, I went from a Washington Post high to an American Idol crash!

I’m crushed that Tatiana Del Toro was booted from the show!   (How’d you like to cut up that dress for an art quilt?)

OK, I know she’s a freak.  I know she’s not the best singer.  I know she’s overly emotional and overly dramatic.  However, like a man who finds himself marrying an ax-murdering inmate from the female ward — ” but I love her.”

Now, I love Tatiana almostas much as I love naughty girl, J’amie King (who just happens to be Tatiana’s separated-at-birth twin as you can see).

I don’t think I’ll watch Idol again this season — what’s the point?  It’s all become so milk-toast and bland and Daddy needs some stimulation.  What were the producers thinking?   I’ll tell you what I’m thinking:  It’s time for new producers.

Now I’m hooked on Hell’s Kitchen!  ramsay

sorry to disagree Mark! I’m also GLAD Tatiana got the boot last night. It’s okay that she’s a diva, but not a whining, crying one. Not cool.

American Idol judges just took away the main interest in the show this season by removing Tatiana! Sure she was different, and very dramatic, but exciting and interesting to watch. I’m with you Mark—the show is going to be soooo–boring now! I acutually think she has a beautiful singing voice and I’ve download her one iTune and waiting for the release of the one she sang last night. Loved her clothes! She is gorgeous too. That hair and dark eyes. I don’t however think it is over for Tatiana…it’s not over for this gorgeous girl though—we will be seeing more about her career. With or without American Idol. Stupid move for their rating to get rid of Tatiana in my opinion.

I wanted to slap the crap outta that girl! I hate to disagree with you, Mark, but I’m gonna do it anyway. She’s outta there! As for Mr. Gordon Ramsey, he’s a hotty! I’m way addicted to Hell’s Kitchen!

Have you seen “We could be heroes” and “Summer Heights High” – the two series that feature the J’amie character? Hilarious. Chris Lilley is brillant. LOL

On a completely different tangent, is Quilters’ Home available in Australia?

Love your blog. Gotta like a guy with a sense of humour.

Can’t comment on American Idol….. on account of being over the pond, but Hells Kitchen???? Are you really ready for our Gordon?? still, you both tell it how it is… so I guess the quilting world is safe…. lol
