That is sooooo cool! Oh, I found a new word today – WHING! okay, okay, so it was a word verification for a comment I left on a blog, but I liked it. My definition for WHING is very cool, wow, amazing, etc etc!

I have one of these for my “other brand’ sewing machine and played around with it. It’s a great concept, but using it with decorative stitching often results in ending the circle with overlapping or understiched designs. Hopefully the machine makers, with their ingenious computers, can program the decorative stitches into perfectly matched circles or provide formulas without us having to practice and readjust. It was still a lot of fun to play with and some really creative projects could be mastered for the persistent like myself, and of course matching thread to fabric color could hide a world of sin, but what would be the fun in that?

I have one for my Janome and stitched random circles, some overlapping and some concentric – all very colorful- over muslin and wow!!!!! I styled the embellished fabric into a vest that never stops getting compliments everywhere I go. I find new uses for the circle maker at every (circular) turn now!! Try one !!
