Me with Some of my Quilt Market Pals!

The BEST part of quilt market is hooking up with old buddies.

So, at literally an ams length, I took so  shots of me and my pals!   You can click on the golden links to their web sites! xoxom

Here’s me and the ORIGINAL  Italian Stallion, Alex Veronelli of Aurifil Threads!   Hmmm.  Wonder why he’s closing his eyes!?!

I had never seen my partner in QUILT OUT LOUD crime in glasses before!  I almost didn’t recognize her.  But OMG she’s so damn CUTE in glasses!   It’s me and Jodie Davis!

McCall’s Quilting’s Amazing Editor  Supreme — Beth Hayes (whom I promised I wouldn’t put on the blog — but what the hell, she’s famous!)

The owner and editor of The Professional Quilter,  here’s me and my longtime bud, Morna McEver Golletz

I’t’s me and THE Patsy Thompson, of Patsy Thompson Designs — the very best in machine quilting video instruction!

Where does Ms. Pat Sloan get all of her energy.  She’s the woman who started it all for me and I’m forever grateful.  Me and Pat Sloan!

Quilt Diva, Mary Koval and her scrumptiously smart and charming granddaughter!

I took several pictures with designer Darlene Zimmerman and they all came out blurry.   I think I just learned an amazing trick to keep wrinkles hidden and have flawless looking skin.   That’s right  —  just shake the camera a little!

I tried the technique again with adorable designer, Karen Combs!  See? It works!

Down under designer, Helen Stubbings from Australia, mate!

My Polish Princess and Piergoi Soulmate, Edyta Sitar

Designer, Lacey Hill, ladies and gentlemen!

Designer to the pros . . . the ever creative, Ro Gregg!  Having Dinner with her tonight!  hehehe!

Gettin a little sugar from designer Kim Deneault!

Quilt, fabric designer, and author — Barbara Campbell!

Owner of M &S Textiles (the  wonderful aboriginal designs).  My buddies Sham Lohani  and his wife Momo (hiding off to the side)

One of the still reigning queens of the show and is in The Quilter’s Hall of Fame —  Donna Wilder.  What a class act!

Set Up Day

Here’s my portion of the Aurifil Booth.  Quilt made by Toby Preston using my  new Winter’s Grace fabric  and Aurifil Threads of course

At Northcott, there is a spinning display featuring my up and coming fabric, Chester Gardens!

A giant Mark Lipinski’s Fabric Trends poster in the All American Crafts booth!

Oh and another poster advertising my meet and greet.   NOTICE how Lipinski is spelled in the green print.  Yes, we are a publishing house!   Off with their &%#*&  heads!   Oh, and 4 cover shots of some of my upcoming magazines this fall!

Out to Dinner

I had dinner with Hania Fagen and designer, Patti Carey of Northcott, Canada at Masa on the mall!   This 3some dinner is “our market thing.”

The Mexican food was fab-o.   This is what I had — a very fancy Tamal!

Now here’s a separated at birth shot — Hania and the Mexican woman statue at Masa —  even the moustaches match!

The New Generation of Fabric Reps

And for yesterday’s comment makers:  THIS is Craig, Vic Dadika’s son, they are both reps for Northcott.  Craig is in Southern California — wouldn’t you just love to see him make a stop a YOUR shop?!!
