    Dear Mark,
I just got off the phone with Regent Market Coop., after ordering some food for the demonstrators by credit card. Regent Market is a union grocery and are in contact with folks on the scene. They know what the people need. It was exciting to talk to someone actually in the city and supporting the demonstrators in this very practical way. Thank you Mark for giving your readers this opportunity to help. I won’t go into why this is so important to all of us as that could take hours.

I’ve been looking since the protests started on where to donate money to directly support the protesters and the 14. But amazingly despite a zillion google searches I haven’t been able to find anything except donating pizza :-/, or signing some freakin’ online petition, or giving $$ to some vague PAC who will use my money who knows how.

Are the above specific suggestions still valid as of today 3/8?
Any idea how I (from California) can directly support the 14?
Any other tips on where to donate money that will go to direct support of protesters or the legislators?

I really think it’s important that pressure on Walker and his agenda is kept up and since I can’t be in WI I’d love to tangibly support those who are on the front line.

    Hi, Mark,
I just called in an order for fifty bucks worth of fresh fruit (apples, bananas) for the protestors. God bless them for their bravery and willingness to stand up for what they believe. America has been sold out to the corporations and it’s time to take it back. I loved Michael Moore’s speech — it made me mad and so very sad. At least this is a way I can help. Thanks for letting us know.

I would like to help out personally, but would probably not be able to come to wonderful Wisconsin. Are you taking financial contributions?

    Thank you,
