Mark on Making Your Creative Life Real

It’s easy to become overwhelmed and frightened when you try to figure out where your next burst of creativity and inspiration will come from.

Yet when we know it’s time to get busy, some of us involve ourselves in life to avoid having to create. Others try to create something but the energy for an artistic venture just isn’t showing up.  Even more of us truly want to move forward creatively yet don’t know where we want to, or should, go with it.  The results are dead-ends.

Put a name to your work, your projects, your desires.  Start there, with a name.

Now is the time to make your creative desires known to the world.  State what you want, how you want it, and when.   Write it down and read it often.  Tell your friends and family. Blog about it.  Tweet your creative wishes. Today is the day to start making your creative life real.
