Guess Who Wrote Me a Note?

Of all things!   I got a note this morning from, Dave Lee,  a man who was a part of the team that invented the Tide Pods!

Believe it or not, I actually know Dave Lee!   You see, he is the husband of a woman who took my 2-day quilting workshop in Thunder Bay, Michigan, a few years ago!  Dave Lee is married to a creative quilter!  Of course, I had zero idea!

BUT GET THIS:   The man who helped invent Tide Pods is now, himself, a QUILTER!   He writes, “…since 2008 I have joined the quilting community (first two complete and a couple in progress) and now have to struggle to choose between my golfing and quilting since I am still working Monday-Friday inventing more Tide Pods other neat stuff for you and the world of quilters.

Small world, eh, cupcakes?  xoxom

A short Thunder Bay video por vous . . .

Did offer to compensate you for your unpaid testimony? Or at least present it to Tide for their consideration? Hmmmmmm, Cupcake? You could be a star!

Is that right? Too bad. It was always so much fun! Maybe I can talk them into having another one once I’m well enough to travel again! 🙂

That is awesome Mark – it truely is a small world! I was just looking at the Tide Pods this afternoon. Looks like they will be the best choice for doing laundry on the road – they are compact (unlike powders) and can’t spill like a liquid 🙂

Hope you enjoy your long weekend! (((hugs)))
