Born from a long line of artists and designers, Di Kim is no stranger to the world of creative art. With parents, siblings, and other close relatives all with careers in the design industry, it was only natural for Di eventually to follow suit. Combining her love of fashion and style with a Do-It-Yourself mantra, this self-taught jewelry designer began creating pieces from her home in Houston, Texas. She currently sells her jewelry online through Etsy, as well as at local boutiques, gift markets, and trade shows.

About Roderick…

Roderick Kiracofe is the author of The American Quilt and Cloth & Comfort. He cofounded The Quilt Digest and has been actively involved in the creation of some of this coun­try’s most important private and corporate quilt collections, and has curated exhibitions in the United States and overseas.  He was also a regular participant on one of PBS’ most popular series The Great American Quilt (1991-1992). He has served as a consultant to the California Heritage Quilt Project. His expertise was used for the majority of quilt search days over a two-year period to date and assess quilts brought in by hundreds of families. He consulted on the selection of the quilts for the exhibition and book Ho For California! Pioneer Women and Their Quilts.(1990). He served on the first board of directors for Studio Art Quilt Associates (SAQA). He currently serves on the Board of Oakland Art Murmur after helping to create a vibrant arts district in the City of Oakland (CA).

About Cheri . . .

Cheri Leffler lives in Helotes, Texas, with her husband, Ken. She has been teaching quilting since all four of their girls were little. Cheri’s had many rewarding adventures in her nontraditional career. She’s been an art director, a stay-at-home mom, a piano teacher, a quilt-store owner, and a substitute teacher. Presently she works at Memories by the Yard, a quilt store in San Antonio. She also teaches quilting classes and thoroughly enjoys designing new patterns.
