YOKE DU YOUR
A man walked into work on Monday with two black eyes. His boss asked what happened.
The man said, “I was sitting behind a big woman at church. When we stood up to sing hymns, I noticed that her dress was caught in her butt, so I pulled it out. She turned around and punched me square in the eye.”
“Where did you get the other shiner?” the boss asked.
“Well,” the man said, “I figured she didn’t want it out, so I pushed it back in.”

Several months ago, Facebook, without warning, had implemented a new business model. As a result, the vast majority of “LIKErs” who have been faithful readers of this Fan Page have been blocked from receiving my posts, time and time again, from getting all or a few of the postings onto their timeline feed.
The reason is, Facebook would like pages like, Mark Lipinski’s Fan Page, to pay money every day, and on every post, in order to advertise and lure readers like you, onto the Fan Page.
With out “BOOSTING” a post, only about 5% of people who clicked LIKE on MARK LIPINSKI’S FAN PAGE are actually seeing anything I post — and it could be random – sometimes you get a post, and sometimes not. Basically, it sucks for all of us. I am finding that we are all better served if I posted my tips, ideas, links, and jokes, etc. to this blog. You can subscribe to this blog (only if you want to) to get an email each time I post a grouping of ideas, links, etc. and never miss a chance at inspiration.

1960’s Rudi Gernreich Rare Flower-Power Appliqué Op-Art Wool Mod Dress Gown, $1,800
A fearless designer, Rudi Gernreich’s body conscious garments dazzled the fashion world with originality and vision. Gernreich held a futurist view of fashion that resulted in innovations such as using plastic in clothes and removing inner construction. This stunning colorful appliqué wool gown is a perfect example of his genius. The bodice is a relaxed short-sleeve, slight V-neck design which is so incredibly modern. I love the psychedelic color palette and seductive side-slit. This rare garment is iconic, comfortable and a fierce fashion statement.

From what I understand, Sally doesn’t set the prices or terms of this liquidation. She has contracted with the same professional liquidation company, contracting and agreeing to the very same protocol, as did other former quilt shops in the area when they liquidated their shops. Thanks for the vote of confidence, but Sally sure doesn’t need any help from me — I can barely balance my checkbook.

Mark, you recently asked about Fine, Sharp, pins you could sew over. The Best fine, sharp pins I’ve found are Karen Kay Buckley’s Perfect Pins. ( I bought mine from AQS) they are very thin/ fine, very sharp and a nice 1 1/2″ long. Worth every cent! I love these pins!
I have no doubt you can easily sew over these pins- although I Never, Ever do, about two weeks after I started wearing glasses I was sewing on my new machine the dealer proudfully claimed you could safely sew over pins with; my needle hit a pin, broke, a piece of the needle flew up and stuck in the middle of my glasses lens– lesson learned- I Always have time to pull my pins as I reach them- nothing needs to be done so fast I don’t have that second. Love these pins though!
