The 4th of July always puts me in the mood for an Independence Makeover.
Today is the day I declare and re-affirm my creative independence to myself and from every other human whom I know (or not) who may have an opinion about my work, my creative process, and my art.
Join me and FREE yourself from:
- I should
- I want to
- I need to
- I could
- I wish
- I might
- I hope
Words without creative action holds power over us. Break the chains of wishing, hoping and wanting and just DO. Create with abandon, without labels or worrying about being “good” or “bad,” “right” or “wrong.”
Everything you imagine and create will lead you to your next inspired idea and vision – but only if you free yourself to imagine, play, win and fail.
Own your creativity. Don’t allow anyone, anything, or any excuse to enslave you. Don’t bargain with your creative freedom, just take it. Live loud in the unique creative independence that is your birthright and where you, and only you, can shine.

Happy 4th Mark!!!
I just organized all those piles of papers (4 piles) I had on my desk for months now. It took me all morning and most of it went in the garbage! Now I can go play!!!
So bummed that I missed your show with Lyric. I took one of her classes (it was a 2-day class) and had such a good time. She too is very inspiring.
Inspired and on a mission!
